A major museum retrospective of the Lithuanian-American sculptor William Zorach (1887-1966), known for his direct carvings in wood and stone, executed in a modern, primitivist style; he taught at the Art Students League in New York. This catalogue is well illustrated with his sculptures, as well as early cubist paintings.
